Fire Fighting

FIRESORB^®, an additive for fire extinguishing water, is used for fire fighting and preventive fire protection. With FIRESORB^® in the fire extinguishing water a water-gel mixture is produced which adheres to ceilings and vertical surfaces. This heat absorbing and fire resisting gel forms a barrier which is extremely difficult for fire to overcome. The gel-type substance makes this product ideally suitable for preventive fire protection. FIRESORB^® forms a protective shield around objects which have not yet been attacked by fire. Thus, for example, woods, tanks or buildings at risk through fire can be coated with the water-gel mixture in order to prevent the flames spreading.
